Each year the familial ‘harvest’
team meets at Red Bud Ranch to pick the crop and experience the crush, the
pressing and the tasting of the early wine before it goes in the barrels.
There is always the anticipation that this year is even better than the last
and that we have shared in the success of creating a fine wine. The farmer,
the winemaker, her family and friends hope you enjoy the wines from Julie LePla Winery and can taste the love and care that went into each bottle.

2009 Zinfandel Limit 6 bottles
$15/bottle
This Zinfandel was fermented naturally and spent more time on the skins than previous years as a result. The wine is well structured with a rich coloring. The fruit on the nose and palate is balanced with subtle oak and spice and you will definitely note ‘cherry’ on the finish. 74 cases produced.
2009 Barbera
$15.50/bottle // $186/case
There are two styles of Barbera and this wine has all of the characteristics of the lighter, fruitier style delivering bright black cherry and plum aromas and flavors
with balanced acidity softened by honey and vanilla from aging in neutral French oak barrels. It will pair well with Italian dishes, grilled hamburgers and sausages or
take it on your next picnic to compliment your salami, cheese and sourdough. Enjoy! 83 cases produced.
2010 Zinfandel
$16/bottle // $192/case
This Zinfandel has many of the characteristics of previous Zin vintages from Red Bud Ranch with
some pluses. Grown in cooler 2010 summer temperatures, the grapes ripened more slowly. Cold
soaked and naturally fermented, it has richer color and flavor. It showed promise soon after
fermentation and just got better. Fans say it is the best yet. 70 cases produced.
